MAA test protocol. Once the slope angle has been set, participants ascended and descended the incline. If the observer rated the walk as a pass or fail, the angle was increased or decreased by one degree, respectively. The slope angles were changed according to the pass or fail rating and once the passing and failing angles were achieved (two fails and two passes one angle below the failing) testing was completed.
