187Re/188Os versus 187Os/188Os diagram for the LaPaz mare basalt meteorites. Fractions of LAP 02224, one with (high Re/Os) and one without (low Re/Os) fusion crust yield an apparent age of ~11.5 Ma. This relationship is interpreted to reflect recent disturbance of the Re-Os isotope system from atmospheric entry, friction heating and mobilization of Re in the meteorite. Data from Day et al.
