Antibacterial efficacy of PU+auranofin coated catheters formulated by varying coating times. PU+auranofin coatings formulated at 4 different coating times (5 s, 1 h, 1 day, and 7 days) at an auranofin coating concentration of 3 mg/mL were incubated with 2 × 106 CFU/mL MRSA USA300 and normalized bacteria density was determined following 18 h.
