Multiple injury types can share similar mechanism and, therefore, similar biomechanical predictors. This data stratification depicts that knee abduction moment was both a predictor for ACL injury and PFPS. The ACL injury prediction was predicated by a greater abduction moment, so it is also possible that the magnitude of a biomechanical factor can be related to the magnitude of injury that it predicts.
