Participants were randomly assigned to begin with Diabetes on the left and Schizophrenia on the right (Schizophrenia paired first with Bad in block 3) or with Schizophrenia on the left and Diabetes on the right (Schizophrenia paired first with Good in block 3). Block 2 and 3, and 5 and 6, were averaged and the mean difference between them divided by the pooled SD to obtain D-scores.
