Illustration of how spatial organizations are related to the lattice of organizations. The spatial organization of a compartment is defined as the organization generated by the species found in its neighborhood (incl. the compartment). For example, the species in the neighborhood of compartment 4 are A, I, KinA and the organization generated by it {A, KinA}. Note that compartment 4 has the same set of species as compartment 3, but the set of species in its neighborhood is A, I, KinA and thus different from that of compartment 3.
