Serum levels of interleukin 6 (IL-6), interleukin 8 (IL-8), and C-reactive protein (CRP) in different phases in bipolar disorder (BD) patients. The patients in the depressive phase or mania/mixed phase of BD had significantly higher IL-6 than CTL (A). There were no significant differences in IL-8 (B) and CRP levels (C) among the 3 groups.
