Table 2.
Protein-coding mutated genes identified in primary–recurrent tumor pairs.
Patient | Total exonic mutations (Primary/recurrent) | Recurrent-specific somatic mutation genes |
---|---|---|
1 | 19/20 | NOTCH1, RAC1, VHL |
2 | 25/23 | RB1, MLH1, NOTCH1, TSC1 |
3 | 33/23 | PTCH1, NF1 |
4 | 19/20 | NOTCH1 |
5 | 14/18 | ERBB3, DNMT3A, NOTCH1 |
6 | 23/21 | DNMT3A, CDH1 |
7 | 22/21 | DNMT3A, NOTCH1, PIK3R1 |
8 | 22/20 | NOTCH1 |
9 | 19/17 | NOTCH1 |
The somatic mutations of primary and recurrent tumor samples from 9 CRC patients were analyzed. By comparing the somatic mutations between primary and recurrent tumors, the mutated genes only detected in recurrent tumor, including NOTCH1, RAC1, MLH1, TSC1, PTCH1, NF1, ERBB3, DNMT3A, CDH1, and PIK3R, were identified.
