Regulation of GAD₆₇ and GAD₆₅ after inhibition of HDAC1 with shRNAi in rat hippocampus SO-CA3/2. RNA was extracted from microdissected SO-CA3/2. Control and HDAC1 shRNAi samples were amplified for two rounds using a total RNA input of 5 ng. Amplified RNA was used to quantify gene expression using Taqman qRT-PCR. Statistical significance was evaluated using one-way ANOVA, followed by Student–Newman Keuls post hoc test (*P < 0.05). Data are expressed as means + SEM; n = 3 per group.
