Effect of chemo-blended Ag NPs on yield and subsequent morphological assessment of the next generation of wheat seeds. Thirty-two day old wheat plants were treated without or with 5 ppm Ag NPs/10 ppm nicotinic acid/0.75% KNO₃. Grains were harvested and number of grains/spike, 100-grains weight, and yield were analyzed. Seeds obtained from this life cycle were sown in sterilized sand. Shoot length, shoot-fresh weight, root length, and root-fresh weight were analyzed on the 5th, 7th, and 9th day after sowing. The data are presented as mean ± S.D. from three independent biological replicates. Mean value in each point with different letters are significantly different according to Tukey’s multiple range test (P < 0.05).
