Comparison of computational efficiency between MD and MD-DPD simulations for different channel heights. In the MD-DPD coupled simulations the MD subdomain remains fixed at 35 nm and we change the size of the DPD subdomain. All simulations were performed using 128 Intel Xeon E5–2670 CPUs. The timings were collected for 1000 time steps for each of the simulations.
