Conditional knockout of Dpep2 in macrophages could markedly promote pro-inflammatory cytokine production in vivo. (A) Heart tissue homogenates were prepared on day 7 post CVB3 infection, and the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines including TNF-α, IL-6, and MCP-1 were detected by real-time PCR. (B) Heart tissue homogenates were prepared on day 7, and the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines including TNF-α, IL-6, and MCP-1 were detected by ELISA.
