Scatter plot distribution of 4D flow parameters stratified by severity of cirrhosis and portal hypertension. Cross-sectional area of the portal vein (PV) was significantly decreased in patients with Child-Pugh’s class B compared to class A, but not to class C (a). For PH score ≥ 3, corresponding to PH or clinically significant portal hypertension, area was significantly decreased in the infrarenal inferior vena cava (IVC) (b; p=0.047). For PH score ≥ 4, corresponding to clinically significant portal hypertension, velocity was significantly increased in the supraceliac aorta (ScAo) (c; p=0.03). Lines on data distribution plots correspond to mean ± standard error of the mean.
