Effect of Tongxinluo or Placebo Treatment on Mean IMT. The annualized change in mean IMT of the TXL and placebo groups was −0.00095 mm (95% CI −0.00330~−0.00141) and 0.01312 mm (95% CI 0.01076~ 0.01548), respectively, and there was a significant difference between the two groups, with a group difference of −0.01407 (95% CI: −0.01740~−0.01073, p < 0.001).
