Reduced proteasome and cathepsin D activity by ectopic expression of TD-p53, p21, or G2019S. dSH-SY5Y cells on (a) 100-mm and (b) 60-mm dishes were transfected with the indicated DNAs (1 μg) for 48 h (vector, WT-p53, TA-p53, and TD-p53), 30 h (Flag-p21), or 72 h (myc-G2019S).
