Inhibition of ATM decrease NAD(P)H fluorescence lifetime decay, but do not influence the percentage of enzyme-bound NAD(P)H. Representative fluorescence decay images of H9c2 cells treated with DMSO (vehicle control; top; n = 3) or KU60019 (3 μM; n = 3), which decreased NAD(P)H τ-bound lifetime (ns) significantly (p = 0.02, Student’s t-test, mean ± s.d.), but did not influence α-bound.
