(B) The protein structure of GMI. (C) Six-week-old mice were divided into 3 groups and treated as follows: (1) phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) as control, (2) 5-FU + PBS, (3) 5-FU + GMI. The 5-FU-treated mice were pretreated with Reishimmune-S (GMI; 36 mg/day) for 3 days before 5-FU injection. 5-FU was injected on day 1 to 4 and day 8 to 11. At day 7, blood was collected for complete blood count analysis. At day 14 after the final injection of 5-FU, mice were sacrificed and the blood serum were collected.
