ELISA quantification of release of mitochondrial proteins. The release of Smac/Diablo,cytochrome c, HIF-1α, FASL, and TNF-α was quantified using ELISA following spinal cord injury from the minocycline-treated group of animals, vehicle group and healthy group (A–E). There was a significant reduction in the release of these proteins compared to the vehicle group. All the values are expressed as mean ± SEM and were considered significant at p < 0.05
