Experimental timeline. Tumor-bearing rats were randomized to receive vehicle control, AZD3342 alone, MTX + AZD3342 vehicle, or MTZ + AZD3342. MTX was delivered in two intramuscular doses of 2 mg/kg. AZD3342 was administered twice daily (20 mg/kg) on 3 consecutive days via oral gavage. Rats were euthanized at 24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 h after the first MTX injection.
