Carbohydrate levels of pSuT mutant plants. Reduced pSuT expression does not affect total cellular sugar and starch levels of leaves. Wild-type (WT) and pSuT mutant plants were cultivated under standard conditions (120 µE, 10 h of light/14 h of dark). Rosette leaves from 5-week-old plants were harvested at the end of the light phase (about 8 h in light).
