A-C) SNX27 knockdown lowered HTLV-1 infectivity. c91PL (A), SLB-1 (B), or HUT-102 (C) cells were transfected with either scramble siRNA or SNX27 siRNA. 24 hours post transfection the cells were irradiated and then co-cultivated with Jurkat reporter cells. 24 hours post co-culture the cells were collected, lysed, and analyzed for luciferase activity. Lysates were also subjected to SDS-PAGE followed by immunoblotting for SNX27 or Actin as indicated. *** = p < 0.0005 and N.S. = p > 0.05 as determined by Student's t test.
