Threshold differences between cVEMPs and oVEMPs evoked by AC sound. oVEMP thresholds are approx. 5 dB higher than cVEMP thresholds, independent of the shape of stimulus used. In this example, data are from Rosengren et al. (2011), in which 61 normal volunteers were stimulated with 0.1 ms clicks and 500 Hz, 2 ms tone bursts, both at 105 dB LAeq.
