We predicted that FAAH A (AA and AC vs CC) and CRFR1 SNP minor alleles (AA, TT, TT) would interact to predict low baseline cortisol and the lowest state anxiety scores. We predicted the CC FAAH genotype (increased FAAH activity) would have high baseline cortisol and high anxiety scores. Additionally, we predicted CRFR1 minor allele carriers would show low cortisol and low anxiety.
