Upon miboleron (Mib) binding the AR undergoes a conformational change and translocates to the nucleus where it works as transcriptional inhibitor of onco-miR-21 expression, after recruitment of the co-factor HDAC3. The negative modulation of the onco-mir-21 results in a reduction of BC cells proliferation.
