Purified SasG (0.1, 0.5, and 1 μM) was mixed with lambda DNA (λDNA) prior to agarose gel electrophoresis. (C) Degradation of λDNA by DNase I was analyzed in the presence and absence of purified SasG. After treatment, DNase I and SasG were degraded by proteinase K, and the residual DNA was analyzed by agarose gel electrophoresis.
