Kaplan-Meier survival curve of SLE prognosis associated with TLR9 mRNA expression. A total of 90 patients with SLE were divided into two groups according to the levels of TLR9 mRNA at SLE onset. Patients with TLR9 mRNA expression levels higher than the mean TLR9 mRNA level in the healthy controls + 2 standard deviations were placed in the high-TLR9 group and the remaining patients were placed in the low-TLR9 group.
