Correlation analysis between serum levels of lncRNA PRINS and Smad7 mRNA in patients with diabetes. Pearson's correlation coefficient analyses were performed to determine the association between the relative expression level of PRINS and Smad7 in blood samples from patients with (A) patients with diabetic nephropathy (r=0.7504; P<0.0001), (B) healthy controls (r=0.01497; P=0.4074), (C) diabetic patients without complications (r=0.1273; P=0.0188), (D) patients with diabetic retinopathy (r=0.06821; P=0.1840), (E) patients with diabetic cardiomyopathy (r=0.005925; P=0.6915) and (F) patients with diabetic lung diseases (r=0.01159; P=0.5259).
