Growth analysis of the wild-type strain (HPS2), deletion mutant (ΔluxS), and complemented strain (C-luxS). Overnight cultures of HPS2 (•), ΔluxS (■), and C-luxS (▴) strains were diluted in T/V/S medium and then incubated at either 37°C (A,B) or 40°C (C).
