Stationary-phase cultures of the wild-type strain and the Pspac-eps operon mutant in LB were serially diluted 10-fold, and 2-μl aliquots of the indicated dilutions were spotted on 2×SGG or LB solid medium supplemented with 1 mM IPTG. (B) Biofilm formation in the presence of diamide. Stationary-phase cultures of the wild-type strain and the Pspac-eps operon mutant were diluted 10-fold, and 10 μl of the dilutions was added to each well containing 10 ml of 2×SGG medium with 1 mM IPTG and the indicated concentrations of diamide.
