(c) and (d) examination of the electrode surface coating using XPS analysis. The characteristic peaks of phosphorus groups of the poly(MPC) at 188 eV (P2p peak) and at 131 eV (P2s peak) were examined. (e) The control and coated sensors were examined using an in vitro glucose sensing assay. Experiments repeated at least 3 times.
