Rat intestinal epithelial cell line IEC-6 was treated without or with low (12.5 µM), medium (25 µM), and high (50 µM) concentrations of salidroside for 2 hr, and then further treated with 0.1 µg/ml LPS to induce the production of IL-6 (A) and IL-10 (B), which was measured on transcriptional level by quantitative real-time PCR, control groups were only treated with the vehicle. (C) The ratio of IL-6 mRNA / IL-10 mRNA in A and B. n= 3. Error bars represented mean±SD. P-values were determined by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Tukey’s post hoc test. *** P<0.001, ** P<0.01, and * P<0.05 vs control group.
