Thra1PV/+ mice have longer small intestine relative to body length. The total length of the small intestine and body (from the tip of the head to the base of the tail after maximally stretching the mouse and scruff of the neck). The total intestine length (A) or the ratio of the intestine to body length (B) was plotted. Note that there is a significant increase in the ratio in the mutant mice.
