Analysis of serum cytokines and chemokines in SLE and HC. Serum from systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients (n = 49) and control subjects (n = 22) was harvested for the cytokine measurement. The concentrations of serum IL-1β, TNFR1, IL-4, IL-6, IL-9, IL-10, IL-17, MCP-1, IFN-γ, G-CSF, and IL-12 were assessed by a cytometric bead array (CBA) assay. CCL-17 and CCL-20 were measured with ELISA. (a-f) Concentrations of IL-6 (a), IL-10 (b), IL-12 (c), MCP-1 (d), TNFRI (e), and CCL20 (f) in SLE patients and healthy controls were measured.
