Time-dependent effects of compounds 14 and 17 on the relative mRNA expression of MAO-B. (A) One way ANOVA followed by Newman–Keuls multiple comparison test showed a significant decrease in MAO-B mRNA expression after 30 and 60 min exposure to compound 17 as compared to 0 min exposure (*p < .05,**p < .01). The analysis also showed a significant increase in MAO-B mRNA expression after 120 min exposure to compound 17 as compared to 30 and 60 min exposure (*** p < .001).
