Overall response times (RTs) on the Blocked Cyclic Naming Task for the related (black) and unrelated (gray) condition across the four cycles. As expected, participants became faster with repetition (across cycles) in both conditions, but this effect was attenuated in the related condition, making the difference in RTs between conditions increase across the cycles (i.e., significant condition by cycle interaction, p < 0.001).
