Among multiple-fetus pregnancies, some women experienced a miscarriage or stillbirth that involved only one of the fetuses, but these cases are included in this table; for this reason, the number of women who experienced loss of pregnancy in this table is larger than the numbers reported in Figure 1 (which includes all dyads who remained in the study).
