Characterization of LSNAs. A size shift of 10−15 nm was observed when empty liposomes (A) and TAK-encapsulated liposomes (B) were functionalized with a 24-mer ssDNA strand (A, black to blue shift; B, white to pink shift). The final compositions of LSNAs with and without TLR9-targeting DNA and/or TAK-242 showed uniform size shifts and polydispersity indices (PDI) (C).
