Blockage of scavenger receptor A (SR-A) using fucoidan. Following TLR9 activation using ODN 1826, SR-A blockage prevents interaction of free INH-18 and LSNAs with TLR9 (A). SR-A blockage prior to TLR activation prevents interaction of ODN 1826 CpG DNA with TLR9 as well as INH-18 and LSNAs (B) and partially inhibits LSNA delivery of TAK-242 without any effect on free TAK-242 interaction with TLR4 (C).
