Ubiquitin‐specific protease 9X (USP9X) regulates ring finger protein 115 (RNF115) at the protein but not mRNA level. A,B, MCF‐7, T47D, SK‐BR‐3, and BT474 cells were transfected with negative control siRNA (siNC) or 3 different siRNAs targeting USP9X (siUSP9X #1‐3). After 48 h of transfection, cells were subjected to immunoblotting (A) or quantitative PCR (B) analysis of USP9X and RNF115 protein and mRNA levels, respectively. C,D, HEK293T and MCF‐7 cells were transfected with the indicated expression vectors. After 48 h of transfection, cells were subjected to immunoblotting analysis with the indicated Abs.
