Numbers are means (SD). Abdominal obesity was defined as WC above the sex and age-specific 90th percentile. P1 paired ttest for the group comparison after the intervention program; The change in each variable was calculated as the difference between post- and pre- intervention values for each subject (usual care or intensive care subjects); P2 is for the comparison between groups (usual care vs. intensive care) of the mean change in each variable adjusted for the corresponding variable at baseline, baseline BMI-SDS, sex and Tanner stage
