A series of horizontal slices showing hindbrain V2a neurons born before 36 hpf (magenta) and those born after 36 hpf (green) based on the photoconversion of Kaede expressed under vsx2 promoter. The confocal stack was acquired at five dpf and then registered to ZBB atlas. Key cell groups are highlighted as the horizontal slice moves from dorsal to ventral.
