Efficacy of disinfectants in inactivating 5 × 107 coccidioidal arthroconidia. Viable colony-forming units (CFU) of Coccidioides immitis strain RS (A) or Coccidioides posadasii strain Silveira (B) after a contact time of either 2, 5, 10, or 20 minutes with the various disinfectants are shown.
