The experimental treatment codes and gender were entered in steps 1 and 2. In steps 3a to 5a anime, manga and games fandom (AMG fandom) was entered along with higher-order interactions. In steps 3b to 5b interest in Japanese culture (Japanese culture) was entered along with higher-order interactions. In steps 3c to 5c preference for indoor activities (indoor) was entered along with higher-order interactions. In steps 3d to 5d shyness was entered along with higher-order interactions. Experimental treatment was dummy-coded with sex robot as the comparison group. DY1 = sex robot (0) vs. nursing robot (1); DY2 = sex robot (0) vs. genetically modified organism (GMO) (1). Gender was dummy-coded (0 = male, 1 = female). All continuous predictors were z-standardized. The displayed results show the coefficients after the listed variables were entered without the influence of later steps.
