Effects of 14-Me-C16:Δ2 on the pathogenicity of B. cenocepacia were determined using an A549 cell line model system. The cell cytotoxicity of the WT was arbitrarily defined as 100% and used to normalize the signal ratios of the different treatments. The results are based on three independent experiments.
