Uptake of [³H]MPP⁺ (2.5 nM) by HEK293/MATE1 and HEK293/mock cells was performed at 37°C for 0.5 min in the absence or presence of oxonic acid, adenine or uric acid. Cimetidine was used as a positive control of Mate1 inhibitor. Data are presented as mean ± SEM (n = 3). *p < 0.05 vs. control rats (Dunnett’s test).
