C. elegans were subjected to an assay of motility toward nbutanol. All worms express Aβ1–42 in neurons and are compromised versus WT, which universally score 1.0. “FV” worms were subjected to empty vector. RNAi knockdown of the indicated genes in other groups improved chemosensory perception as shown by higher chemotaxis indices (*P<0.03, **P<0.004, ***P<0.0005).
