PIP3-binding proteins from DIO and Aβ-transgenic mice were compared and subjected to pathway analysis. A. A heat map was generated of pathways in which PIP3-binding proteins were significantly altered in DIO (left column) or Aβ-Tg (right column) versus WT mice fed standard chow (“Con”). B. A depiction of the PI3K/PIP3 pathway produced by Ingenuity software was modified to highlight the five proteins (blue) with less binding in both experimental groups; a lower level of PIP3 binding by β-catenin was unique to Aβ-transgenic mice.
