Variants LasR-1–3 were isolated from casein broth inoculated with the LasR mutant only, LasR130-1-3 and LasR131-1-3 were isolated from casein broth coinoculated with the LasR mutant and clinical P. aeruginosa isolates E130 or E131, and LasI-1–3 were isolated from casein broth inoculated with the LasI mutant.
