Male, 70 years old, pancreatic head cancer. ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT fusion images showed a massive shadow in pancreatic head, with increased radioactivity uptake. Four metabolic parameters were all above the cut-off value, and the LDT was 3.9 cm. S-1 based chemotherapy was applied first, followed by SBRT treatment. OS of the patient was 16.7 months, and PFS was 9.2 months. LDT = longest diameter of tumor, OS = overall survival, PFS = progression-free survival, SBRT = stereotactic body radiation therapy.
