Levels of p-mTOR, p-p70S6K, and p-4E-BP1 gradually increased after nerve injury as shown by western blot analysis. Seven days after nerve injury (POD 7), p-mTOR, p-p70S6K, and p-4E-BP1 expression were significantly up-regulated compared with the normal group, but all phospho-protein levels declined 14 days after nerve injury (POD 14) as compared with the POD 7 group.
